I aim to provide personalised lessons that tailor to any needs and suitable paces. Having moved to various cities growing up, I have a full understanding of what it is like adjusting to different environments, and will incorporate the student's individual goals into every session. I try my best to create a learning environment that is motivating, open and positive, and I am here to help students reach their full potential.

Hi! I’m Sarah, a second year student at Imperial studying Design Engineering. With a focus on STEM subjects, I am here if you need any support whether that is struggling with exam questions, understanding different topics, or to further expand your subject knowledge.

Here is a short summary of my background:

  • did 4 subjects (Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry) for A Levels
  • received A*s for Maths and Further Maths
  • received full marks for my EPQ, where I designed and built a machine that can draw pictures on various surfaces
  • awarded the Pearson Edexcel Excellence Award for my A Level Results
  • received 10 x 9/A* for GCSEs
  • fluent in English and Mandarin

On top of my academic interests, I also have a strong passion for creative pursuits, including painting, music and product design. Combining both creative and technical skills, I believe that I am capable of helping students excel in their studies.

Before joining Bright Education, I was a Maths tutor for my previous school's Maths clinic, teaching students ranging from 12 - 17 years old. I was also chosen as the subject prefect for Maths, Physics and Chemistry, where I did 1-on-1 and 1-on-2 tutoring for GCSE students.

I volunteered as a teaching assistant for Genesis School in Singapore, a school for children with special needs, where I provided interactive and educational content to students.
