I am pursuing a degree in Accounting and Finance from London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). I have previous experience teaching maths for Primary school students and A-level maths to my peers. I have helped many students improve their grades, prepare for exams, and develop a deeper understanding of this subject.
As a tutor, I tailor my lessons to each student’s needs, goals, and interests. I use a variety of methods and resources to make maths fun and engaging, such as demonstrations, videos, and real-life examples. I also encourage students to ask questions, explore their own ideas, and apply their knowledge to real-life situations. My aim is to inspire students to enjoy learning maths and to discover its relevance and beauty.

Experience
During A Levels, I was part of the Maths Outreach Program where I tutored Maths to Primary and A-level Maths students weekly. I am really passionate about teaching as I saw the positive impact, I had on them. This helped me become more flexible as I adapted my teaching style unique to each student, so they engage better. Over the course, I can see them improving their problem-solving skills and becoming more confident in challenging themselves to solve more difficult problems.
Moreover, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills I am able to connect with my students and provide lessons that are engaging to each individual student. I will also give regular constructive feedback on their progress and make them feel comfortable discussing any concepts they might be struggling with to help them achieve their full potential. I am also patient and supportive of students who might have lost confidence and motivation due to past failures.
I believe with my deep understanding of mathematical concepts and previous experience I will be able to break down and simplify complex problems/ concepts and explain them in a way that is easily graspable.
Teaching method
My teaching style is based on the idea that learning should be enjoyable and meaningful. I believe that students learn best when they are actively involved in the process, not just passively listening, or memorizing. That's why I use a variety of methods and activities to engage with students and spark their curiosity. For example, I might use real-life examples, demonstrations, and timed quizzes to make the subject matter more fun and relevant. I also encourage students to ask questions, share their opinions, and collaborate with their peers. I try to create a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable and confident. I think that by making learning fun and not like a chore, students will develop a lifelong interest and passion for whatever they are studying.
